Since 2011, All in Need aims to develop a place where children and their parents can interact, learn, and grow together with peers facing the same challenges.
Our Mission
The mission of All in Need, Family Support is to provide support to families with children, ages 18 and under, that have special needs in the East Bay Area, California and the Willamette Valley, Oregon. All in Need supports families by offering respite care in a nurturing and learning environment; promoting social interaction, gross and fine motor activities all in a sensory based atmosphere.
Our Philosophy
We all face similar joys and challenges, successes and setbacks as we strive to support our child with special needs in the best way that we can, while still continuing all the typical activities of family life: work, play, school, church, and more.
Sometimes this can be overwhelming, and that’s where All in Need comes in.
We want to provide you with some calm in the storm—a little relief from the pressure that starts to weigh you down. Revive, our respite care program, gives you the chance to take care of yourself, so in turn you can take better care of your children.
Our Story
In 2008, All in Need began working as a ministry at Oak Park Christian Center. The first respite event had two children. As word began to spread to the special needs community, the All in Need family grew. As a ministry, All in Need was only able to serve children up to the 5th grade. In order to serve a wider range of children, Autumn began the process to make All in Need a non-profit organization.
In 2011, All in Need, Family Support non-profit was established.
The Cookies With Santa event was the first step at creating special events geared towards the special needs community. Later, the Egg-treme Hunt and Trunk or Treat were added to the calendar. In 2019, the special event known as the Trunk or Treat will be called the Frank N Stein event.
2019 has also brought new changes for All in Need. Autumn has expanded the reach of support from All in Need by moving to Oregon and bringing All in Need to the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas.
